Someone recently said the Bible has to be either all true, or all not true, because how can you pick and choose. And I found myself thinking I don't take it literally, but I do believe the resurrection, so how do I chose? I think it's that I believe the stories are True in the bigger sense, even if not in the 21st century science sense. God speaks to God's people with stories, no wonder you're hooked :)
