Yeah, I'd be wary too. I think I'm just as happy not reading that sequel. (I keep meaning to do some actual research on the Roma; I know that the version we see in popular culture is heavily stereotyped, but I don't actually know much at all about the reality.)
The Headless Cupid was pretty darn awesome, though I liked The Egypt Game better. (I tried to do my own, actually when I was little: tried to get my friends to play something similar, only with Ancient Greece instead of Egypt. They were dubious, and it didn't work out too well.)
